SUPERVISOR
SUPERVISOR sought for the EVENING shift (40-55hr/week) with a salary depending on experience.
Possibility OF ADVANCEMENT to the position of Operations Manager !!!
REQUIREMENTS
- DEC in operations management or DES accompanied by training in personnel supervision or comparative experience;
- Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in production supervision in a food sector;
- Knowledge of food standards is an asset;
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety
- Knowledge of the MS Office suite;
- Bilingualism (oral and written).
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- Must be able to work standing up;
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (4 to 10 degrees);
- Availability and flexibility for overtime.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Confirm work priorities upon receipt of work orders and assign tasks to team leaders;
- Report any problems related to production, and/or equipment defects;
- Train employees and ensure that they understand and master the tasks inherent to the positions;
- Ensure productivity, quality and safety in the workplace;
- Ensures that data related to production and quality are recorded as required by the team leader;
- Manage employees; schedules and disciplinary process(es);
- Performs all other related tasks
